I am a resident of Somerville, Massachusetts. I earned a bachelor's degree in English language and literature with a minor in cinema studies in 2015 at Northeastern University. I am continuing my studies at Northeastern by pursuing a Master of Arts in English. While at Northeastern I've tutored at the University's Writing Center. I help both undergrads and graduate students improve their ability to write, whether concentrating on a particular writing assignment or to develop their general skills. I have experience working with students of varying proficiency levels, including many students for whom English is a second language. While tutoring writing is my primary passion, I am proficient in tutoring a variety of subjects, such as literature, playing the guitar, public speaking, grammar and mechanics, vocabulary, and literary analysis. I am also able to prepare students for taking standardized exams.When I'm not working, I love to watch films and study them, read novels, play the acoustic guitar, and keep up with various local athletic teams.
